It is a damn lengthy process for this devices.
Downgrade Hboot version, turn S-OFF, root it, install custom ROM (CM 7.2 Stable is best one for this devices); install Gapps.
If you have done everything as it is supposed to then you can use 2.3.7 Gingerbread on it.
