Sony Xperia U — I can`t charge my phone.

About 2 or 3 days ago, my Sony Xperia U died and every time i go to charge it the red light lights comes on, indicating that it is charging, and after 10-20 minutes the red light blinks off. I left my phone the charger, in case it was charging but it wasn't. I have checked many different forums regarding this problem, but none of the solutions are fixing the problem.

I have tried using 3 different chargers and a USB with my laptop but still no change. I`ve read other forums that say to take out the battery or hold down the power and volume buttons, but no change has occurred. This is a serious dilemma because my phone is on a 2 year contract and i dont have the money to buy a new phone to continue the contract with>

Thank you Loie for the tutorial. I have reviewed it and none have worked, but i still haven't tried the one where you lever up the the charger slot thing. It would be great help if you could tell me how to do that because the instructions weren't very clear. Thank You!
