GM - I have a weird symbol at top of my phone and have never seen it before. This is best I can describe it - it looks like a rectangular box with 'sideways w's' on both sides of it. Hope you help.

Might be a notification from an app you have installed. Cannot clarify without the screenshot.

TY Sanjai...also, it was in the upper right hand corner where the svc. notifications usually are, if that helps. But nevertheless - its gone now.

That icon might be for a app that you left open and running in the background.
Impossible to tell you which app it was unless we know what apps you have in your device.
