For the last few days a Youtube window has been appearing on my homepage. I've tried disabling notifications, even disabling Youtube itself, but still the pesky window keeps appearing. Any thoughts on how to crack this small, but consistent irritant?

  1. Open the YouTube app.
  2. Tap the menu button and select Settings.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Uncheck “Recommended videos.”

Download size < 0.08 MB. But also Ad-free, Pure & Accurate enough.
The minimalist app is available on Google Play https://goo.gl/ws42fN

Thanks James, but there is no "Recommended videos" to uncheck. Just Allow emails/Product updates/Your channel updates, all off which are off.

Thanks James & Favilo44.
It's sorted now. I've realised the problem was that somehow "Peel" had been activated.
Cheers
